In addition to the cost of your HSA Home Warranty plan, you will also be responsible for paying a $75 or $100 trade service call fee per claim. You will be required to pay this fee regardless of whether the claim is granted in part or whole.

For properties not involved in a real estate transaction, coverage begins 15 days after payment is received by HAS. The contract remains in effect for 12 months after the effective date.

HAS will provide home protection coverage as long as the parts are located within the interior of the primary foundation of the home, are correctly installed, become inoperative due to normal wear and tear, and are in “proper working order” on the effective date of the contract.

You will be responsible for a trade call fee or deductible of $75 or $100 for each trade call. The amount of this fee is determined by the product available in your area, and it applies to all approved costs, including service call charges. If multiple visits are required, you will not be charged an additional deductible.

The warranty is non-cancelable by either party except for non-payment, fraud or material misrepresentation, or expiration. The warranty is renewable by mutual consent at prevailing rates for an additional 12-month period. Should the contract be canceled, an allowable administration fee may be charged upon cancellation.
