Subject to the limitations, terms and conditions, service applies only to the Eligible Equipment which is in place and in good and safe working order with no pre-existing defects at the beginning of the service period and has become inoperable due to normal wear and tear.
2-10 Home Warranty will not pay for any services performed without prior authorization. You are obligated to pay the trade fee or the actual cost to repair/replace, whichever is less, for each separate trade call (each visit by an authorized service contractor for a single trade).
Coverage starts upon acceptance of application and receipt of applicable contract fees and continues for 365 days from that date. The agreement may be renewed at the company’s option. In that event, you will be notified of the terms, conditions, and rate of the offer.
The provider is the responsible party for honoring cancellation requests, and there are no cancellation fees applied. The agreement is non-cancelable by the company except for fraud, material misrepresentation, or non-payment of fees. If the agreement is canceled by either party, a pro-rated refund of the contract will be reimbursed.

Customers can speak to a Customer Service agent by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you can submit your claim online or by phone. You will be required to pay either a $75 or $100 service fee per claim, depending which plan you purchase.

When you compare 2-10 Home Warranty to some of its competitors, you will find some advantages as well as some disadvantages. One of the top benefits that 2-10 Home Warranty offers their customers is the option to customize their plan – choose from three plans with several optional add-ons and two service fee options. As far as disadvantages go, 2-10 does place some limits on their coverage, and the $75 and $100 service fees are a little higher than what some other companies charge.
