In addition to the cost of your Choice Home Warranty plan, you will also be responsible for paying a $60 trade service call fee per claim – this fee is not in any way impacted by the actual cost of repair or replacement for the covered item. This fee must be paid directly to the technician who comes to your home to perform the work. Choice Home Warranty makes it easy to purchase a home warranty at any time – you do not need to be involved in a real estate transaction to buy a plan. You also do not need to have a home inspection completed before purchasing a plan, though it is always a good idea to do so.

Choice Home Warranty does not cover any pre-existing conditions (known or unknown), nor do they cover the misuse, abuse, or failure to clean and maintain covered appliances and systems.

If a replacement unit is unavailable for a covered item that needs to be replaced, Choice Home Warranty will offer a cash payment for the items replacement cost – this may be less than the retail value.

Coverage for Choice Home Warranty begins thirty days after acceptance of the plan by CHW and upon receipt of applicable contract fees. Coverage continues for 365 days from that date and plans are renewable annually. You will be notified of the renewal rate and terms of renewal before the renewal date each year.

If you want to cancel your plan, you may do so within 30 days of the order date. You will receive a refund of the paid amount minus a $50 administration fee as well as any service costs incurred by Choice Home Warranty.

Customer Satisfaction

Choice Home Warranty offers their customers comprehensive protection against unexpected and costly repairs and replacements. To file a claim, just call their claim center to speak to a Customer Service representative. You will be required to pay a modest service fee for each repair.

    I put in a work order last Monday night for an electrical issue that I was experiencing. On Tuesday morning, I received an email that my case was assigned to a technician. Within 30 minutes of receiving the email, Latin Electric called about my issue. I was told that they could come out that afternoon, but I had to wait until Thursday afternoon due to my schedule. Latin Electric arrived early. The technician was friendly, professional and super efficient. He was able to identify the problem quickly and resolve the matter to my complete satisfaction. I am 100% satisfied this experience and the timeliness of the repairs!

When the contractor assigned refused to do the job, Choice customer service was again immediate, with no questions asked.     I recently switched my home warranty from OLD REPUBLIC Home Warranty Plan and joined with CHOICE. I left OLD REPUBLIC because it took 2 weeks to get a tech out for a dishwasher problem. No one followed up with the service tech, who told me he would try to get approval for some part.The service tech never got back to me either. I had another problem with the same dishwasher after joining with Choice. With in a few hours your service department called to see if the tech had called me. By that evening I had an appointment the next morning. Again approval was needed for a part. Within 3 business days part was approved and dishwasher restored. I am very happy with choice, I will continue with choice, and will inform family and friends of your excellent customer service. Thank-you Judy M

    They have worked with and for me very well. I just bought a second policy on another house I own. Went for a 5 year plan. You can sell it with your home, or transfer it to a new home if you move. Gave a great discount for the 5 year plan. I used their agent Brad Collins at Ext 8246. Very knowable and will work with you. Did not give them a 10 yet, for I have not compared their prices or limits with other companies. However, I was happy enough with their service to buy my second policy. I have had two claims on my first policy with no problems.

    When I took up the Home Warranty policy with this company it was all amazing for me. The policies were easy to comprehend. They were clear and straight to the point. In addition to that, they were the right for me as I have older systems in my house which meant that the policy was lesser. This meant that I had to pay for less. I am in the right place.
